This is great. I particularly liked the levels where you had to use the golden carrot to hop over blocks to leave a path for yourself; level 14 was probably my favorite. This is the kind of game where you could keep layering on mechanics to create some very deep puzzles. I would play more of this kind of thing! Thanks for making this.

this is great. my brain breaks with the keyboard controls but with a gamepad i am getting the hang of it. i do wish the shoulder buttons were bound to something, because i find myself often wanting to fall and grind at the same time, so i end up doing this weird claw grip

Thank you!! And oh that's smart, definitely will do that because I get the helpfulness of being able to reach that kinda thing. Thanks for the idea!

gonna try this game later on a different computer but if you have your system refresh rate > 60 Hz, it will kinda run in hyperspeed!

Funkmachine responds:

It runs on the browsers refresh rate which is usually 60Hz, I never even considered a device with increased rate!

sometimes i complete a puzzle and it doesn't clear the board. other than that, very slick presentation and very fun

edit: there were a few other bugs related to placement (block not fitting when it should, and one time, a block fitting when it shouldn't) but they didn't prevent me from finishing the game

this game is so good. it's stylish and super original. in a game jam game it's surprising to see bosses with special mechanics that make them feel unique! i was about to complain about being "stun locked" by the guy that makes you slow, until i realized i could still move up and down, which is more than enough to let the slowness effect wear off and be safe.

button mashing is my Gamer Weakness so i do wish the auto fire was faster. those laser guys really rock the screen, but i think it's an intended confusion mechanic a la mario kart bloopers? and if there's anyone that can justify sacrificing a *little* visual clarity for the sake of artistic vision, it's me lol. in general the action is incredibly clear even with the limited color palette. music and sound effects are nice, and serve the gameplay

one of those games that will always be fun to come back to.

i'm not proud of any of my scores yet, lol.

this is incredible scope for a PICO-8 game and the mechanics are explained well in the tutorial. props to @oohcurtains who made the soundtrack too! the UI is super usable and cute. whenever i'm hovering over a button, there's always text that makes it crystal clear what it will do when i hit A.

i love the plumber-inspired timing-based challenges that keep your fingers busy, and will definitely keep coming back to this

very nice! some really good puzzle designs and pleasing aesthetic overall
